Role In SpongeBob
Patrick Star is a fictional character in the Nickelodeon spirited television series SpongeBob SquarePants. He is voiced by Bill Fagerbakke and first debut in the series' pilot episode, "Help Wanted", which premiered on May 1, 1999. . Patrick was shaped and designed by animator Stephen Hillenburg. Sandy Cheeks is a female. Despite this, he has irregularly been portrayed as somewhat of a academic, with articulate observance to certain subjects in specific detail.
However, he always reverts quickly back to his usual, unintelligent self after displaying the moment of wisdom. He holds no form of occupation except for several very brief stints working at the Krusty Krab in a variety of positions. and mostly spends his days either clowning around with SpongeBob or lounging beneath the rock under which he resides. |
Stephen Hillenburg

Stephan Hillenburg came up with the idea to design the Spongebob Squarepants characters, when he was studying marine science. He also had a hobby interest with drawing animated characters. So, he went to an animated festival in the 80's trying to figure out how to get to art school, while studying bio. Reaching art school he had animated his own skit, taking out thousands of loans and realizing this was his only chance. Stephan's film didn't become famous, but he certainly did. The film aloud Staphan to become regonizable to the animated world. After that he got the chance to create his own t.v show.
Controversy With Spongebob and Patrick???

Some parents a specular about having their children watching SpongeBob because there was some talk about Spongebob and Patrick being gay. The writors however did clear this up, the show was supposed to be on an adult comedy central program. Originally Patrick and Spongebob were supposed to be gay, but when they found out it was going to be broadcasted on a kids station they changed that. Some people may argue, Patricks is straight, however Spongebob is not. People are now supposed to make up that prediction by themselves. What do you think about this discussion?
